Senior Business Analyst, FinOps

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to define, document, and optimize business processes and end-to-end transaction workflows. This role bridges business operations and technology by ensuring Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 5+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Experience designing and delivering end-to-end solutions from scoping requirements through implementation - Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence - Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience Preferred: - 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - CMA or CPA, or MBA in finance, accounting or related field - • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards); Knowledge of Tableau - • Experience as a solution architect, migration specialist, or similar solutioning role - • Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions for complex technical challenges - • Experience with software development methodologies and programming languages such as Java - • Experience with AI/ML technologies, including large language models, natural language processing, or intelligent automation tools to enhance business processes - • Familiarity with AI-driven process mining and optimization platforms (e.g., Celonis, UiPath AI Center) and the ability to leverage AI for workflow analysis and decision support Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
