Senior Accountant, Amazon MGM Studios

Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a highly motivated, curious, and analytical Senior Accountant to Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles - Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures - Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments Preferred: - Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) - Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
