Security Operations Manager, GSOC, Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS)

The Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is Amazon’s 24/7 centralized command center supporting Worldwide Amazon Stores. The GSOC manages critical incidents impacting Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - 3+ years of people management experience - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) - Experience in critical incident management, emergency response and business continuity within operations or logistics environments - Ability to use multiple software applications simultaneously while managing critical incidents - Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: - Experience leading people in a Security/Emergency Operations Center environment - Military/intelligence/law enforcement/geopolitical risk analysis experience - • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CBCP, CEM, or equivalent. - • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to write clearly and succinctly for senior leadership - • Experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced operational environments Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
