Security Engineering Manager, Stores Org Mobile Security

Amazon's Mobile Security team (MobileSec) serves as Amazon's dedicated mobile security team across the company and subsidiaries. We enable builder teams to create secure mobile applications that protect Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field - 5+ years of progressive work within a software security team or related operating environment experience - 3+ years of people management, managing engineers experience - Experience managing teams, or experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems - Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data - Experience in one or more of the following: application security frameworks, security code reviews, incident response, security infrastructure, penetration testing, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, identity and access controls Preferred: - Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Knowledge of information security technologies such as security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, and software testing techniques - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience with mobile application security (iOS/Android) including security review processes, vulnerability detection, or security automation - Background in building or leading teams that deliver developer tools, platforms, or secure-by-default building blocks that improve builder efficiency - Experience with AI-assisted security automation, including LLM-driven rule generation, agentic code review, or MCP-based knowledge distribution Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
