The Security and Loss Prevention Specialist (SLP Specialist) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Security and Loss Prevention (S&LP) team. This role leads the effort to efficiently and effectively Basic qualifications: - High school or equivalent - 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience, or 1+ year in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or operations, or Loss Prevention Qualified Career Choice Graduate - 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, in a professional capacity - Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and Business Continuity planning experience Preferred: - Experience making and influencing informed decisions by leveraging data and metrics - Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment - Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, network and influence across all business levels in a diverse workforce environment - 1+ year of leadership or management and/or supply chain experience - Investigative interviewing experience; Wicklander and Zulawski, Loss Prevention Qualified, Certified Protection Professional, Loss Prevention Certified, Certified Forensic Interviewer, Certified Threat Assessment Certification or other relevant certifications - Experience in physical security systems maintenance/implementation and coordinating scope of work with security vendors Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
