Security and Loss Prevention Expert, Worldwide Operations Security

The Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) is a key leadership position within the Amazon Security and Loss Prevention (S&LP) team. This role leads the effort to efficiently and effectively provide Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience - 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE), or 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement experience Preferred: - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications and the use of pivot tables and the development of charts and graphics - Experience in implementing metric-based strategies utilizing continuous improvement concepts - Investigative interviewing experience; Wicklander and Zulawski, Loss Prevention Qualified, Certified Protection Professional, Loss Prevention Certified, Certified Forensic Interviewer, Certified Threat Assessment Certification or other relevant certifications - Workplace incident mitigation or de-escalation and business continuity planning experience - Experience in physical security systems maintenance/implementation and coordinating scope of work with security vendors - 2+ years of operational experience in risk management, audit, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance, retail, warehouse, distribution center services, delivery service, or supply chain Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
