Satellite Systems I&T Engineer, Space Networking Solutions

Develop complex satellite systems that address the needs of targeted government and international customers with specific solutions that have the potential to scale. As a satellite systems I&T engineer, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline - 5+ years of space vehicle, bus, RF payload, or optical payload integration and test or related industry experience - 5+ years of experience developing space or communication system test requirements, plans, and procedures for system design verification and validation. - 4+ years of experience developing code in Matlab, LabVIEW, Python, Docker, Rust on Linux platforms and experience with industry standard coding practices - Experience with testing satellite communications payloads, optical communications payload, spacecraft bus and constituent subsystems, or space vehicle level. Preferred: - Familiarity with integration and test of satellite communications, ground terminals, or DoD networks. - Proficiency with software development and hardware integration related to satellite payloads or ground systems. - Experience with satellite or terrestrial communications systems and antenna theory - Experience in verification plan and test plan development related to established test standards (MIL-STD-810, DO-160) - Computational problem solving and test automation/optimization in one or more of the following: Python, Matlab, LabVIEW, C/C++, Docker, Rust on a Linux platform. - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
