Satellite Hardware Development Engineer, Amazon Leo

Amazon LEO is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.As Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - 3+ years of hardware engineering experience - 3+ years of experience in using schematic tool (Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Cadence OrCad, or Altium Designer) - 2+ years of experience in using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters Preferred: - Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalentwith classes in digital communication systems. - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - 3+ years of industry experience in high speed (SERDES, etc.) and/or mixed signal PCBA design - Experience with high data rate modems, ADC’s, DAC’s and FPGA’s - Experience with high speed digital communications (satcom or terrestrial networks) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
