AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - Experience as a resident engineer or hands-on design consultant - 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region Preferred: - Professional Engineer License - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Knowledge of mechanical systems (Mechanical, HVAC systems, Controls) - Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing
