Processing Technician, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the Basic qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - 2+ years of experience in spaceflight hardware testing and assembly - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment - Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport & must meet customs entry requirements to include but not limited to: Yellow Fever vaccine and other immunization requirements as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks Preferred: - Experience with electrical systems - Experience working in a fast-paced work environment - Experience working with Foreign Object Debris (FOD), ESD sensitive hardware, and in a clean room - Experience with forklifts, cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment (including previous certifications) - A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures - Able to stand/walk for long periods of time - Able to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position - Able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
