Processing Technician - 2nd Shift, Amazon Leo

From individual households to Basic qualifications: - High school or equivalent diploma - 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation - Able to obtain and maintain a US Passport & must meet customs entry requirements to include but not limited to: Yellow Fever vaccine and other immunization requirements as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks Preferred: - Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization - Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environments - Experience working with Foreign Object Debris (FOD), ESD sensitive hardware, and in a clean room - Experience with forklifts, cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment (including previous certifications) - A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures - Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments - Able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive assembly operations - Able to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position - Able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
