Principal Product Designer, AI/ML Services

AWS AI Services is seeking a Principal UX Designer to lead some of the most strategic and complex design initiatives across our AI/ML portfolio, including Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.This Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of design experience - Have an available online portfolio - Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design - Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution - Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership - Experience providing training and mentorship - 3+ years designing and shipping developer-facing AI/ML products. You understand the end-to-end agent development lifecycle, including model hosting, deployment, observability, evaluation. You design across APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and console experiences, with the technical depth to understand developer workflows and influence the underlying interfaces and abstractions. - Ability to design in code-based prototypes and work comfortably with code Preferred: - Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data - Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision - Experience designing products for AWS or another major cloud platform, with an understanding of the needs of enterprise cloud customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
