The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to join our team and lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of cloud computing experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field - Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects - Experience with software development life cycle (sdlc) and agile/iterative methodologies - Experience in project management of technical programs Preferred: - degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification - Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders - Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments - Experience explaining technical concepts in pre-sales environments Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
