Post Silicon Engineer, Amazon LEO

Amazon LEO is expanding global broadband access through a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites. You will be part of a team that works on cutting edge silicon engineered to operate in the harsh environment Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 5+ years of work experience in Bring Up, Validation and characterization of SOC or ASIC - Familiarity with protocols such as I2C, SPI, I3C and eMMC - Experience using Bench top instruments (Power Supply, DMM, High Speed Oscilloscope, Signal generator and DAQs) - Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Embedded C - Familiarity using Lauterbach or other JTAG Based debuggers to program/debug Embedded Processors. Preferred: - Experience Validating and Characterizing high-speed interfaces (e.g. SERDES, DDR) - Power Analysis and Characterization - Fundamental Knowledge of Signal-Integrity and Power-Integrity - Experience using FPGA or Emulator for Pre-Silicon Validation and Bring-Up Prep. - Working knowledge of a MODEM is a plus - High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
