Amazon Leo is Amazon’s Low Earth Orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the Basic qualifications: - high school diploma or equivalent - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - Can lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances - Experience creating outbound domestic and international shipments (EEI/CI filing) - Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position - Standing up to 8 hours a day - Ability to work flexible shift assignments, including overtime and weekends as required, in a high tempo operation environment - Experience packing items for shipments Preferred: - Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications - 1+ year experience in handling and packaging of dangerous goods (DOT and IATA standards) - Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields - Forklift certified and experience with handling heavy equipment - Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
