Rapid and Rural Logistics is looking for a Ops Engineering role with a delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - 3+ years of maintenance or engineering experience - 3+ years of refrigeration industry experience - Bachelor's degree - Associate's degree in a technical field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) BB/3P Full Time Exempt experience - Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays - Experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments - Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases Preferred: - 1+ years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience - Refrigeration Trade School certificate - Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level - Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs for commercial refrigeration systems - Knowledge of performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality - Experience working with and managing third party vendors - Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing - Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques - Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Experience in Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) or fulfillment operations, or experience in similar environments - Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments - Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
