OISL Assembly Technician, OISL

LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, Basic qualifications: - 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification - 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches) - Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings Preferred: - Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry - Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license • CFOT certification or equivalent experience - Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience - ASE certification or equivalent experience - Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware - Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements - Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration - Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
