Network Dev. Engineer III, ONE Core Platform

The Core Platform team owns delivering software-defined, automated, and incrementally scalable network infrastructure products that improve the reliability of our network for Amazon’s fulfillment centers Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience - 8+ years of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols as well as network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills - 8+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS in a large enterprise environment - 8+ years working with major network operating systems such as Cisco IOS and/or Junos - 3+ years experience with Unix/Linux skills and the ability to script in Python, Perl, shell Preferred: - Master's in Computer Science, MBA, or equivalent experience - Expert-level certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE) a plus - Expert-level scripting and/or automation skills in a network environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
