As dedicated cloud regions continue to expand Basic qualifications: - Experience with networking fundamentals - Knowledge of cabling best practices - Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery - 1+ years of technical work experience, or Bachelor's degree in an advanced technical program - High school or equivalent diploma, or CCNA or equivalent level networking certification - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred: - 2+ years of data center engineering experience - Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF and other R&S technologies - 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience - 1+ years of data center engineering or operations experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
