Network Cabling Quality Technician , Global Cabling Quality

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment - 2+ years of data center experience, or experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - Associate's degree in Telecommunications or related discipline, or equivalent work experience - Knowledge of basic quality tools (e.g., defect categorization, root cause analysis, or quality reporting systems) Preferred: - Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - Knowledge of critical data center equipment - Experience with program and project management in a matrixed organization, including managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, and influencing others - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in technical support - Proven track record on ability to identify creative and innovative solutions to improve quality, reliability, or maintainability Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
