MFG Production Technician , Amazon Leo

LEO is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, Basic qualifications: - • 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification - • 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches) - • 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system - • Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings Preferred: - • Experience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment - • Experience in a fast-paced production environment - • Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements - • Experience with forklifts, cranes and heavy equipment (including previous certifications) - • A demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures - • Some basic knowledge of electrical, optical and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing and/or satellite components - • Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments - • Ability to work effectively in a team environment - • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
