Manager, Public Policy

Amazon is seeking a Manager, Public Policy to assist in developing and coordinating fast-moving policy strategy in support of Amazon’s commitment Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Economic Development) - 8+ years of experience in public policy, government, or trade associations on relevant topics. Preferred: - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery, or experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure - Experience working with public policy stakeholders and managing multiple policy issues. - Highly effective oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills; demonstrated ability to interact with senior professionals effectively and comfortably, including policymakers and senior executives. - Strong understanding of government relations, external advocacy, and communication tactics. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
