Manager, Public Policy

Come build a futurewith Amazon Public Policy. The Manager, Public Policy will help develop and execute Amazon’s public policy efforts at the state and local level in New Jersey. You will create and execute Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 8+ years of public policy experience - Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge - An ability and desire to travel is required. Preferred: - Experience interacting with government agencies on technology policy. - An expert understanding of the legislative and regulatory policy process and the technology industry. - New Jersey government experience - Expert skills in advocacy and using spoken and written rhetoric to persuade and inform. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience creating and effectively delivering factual, relevant, and easily understandable talking points and other messaging. - Broad government relations strategy experience. - Ability to maintain the highest personal levels of ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
