Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved Basic qualifications: - Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives - Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions - 5+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or related field experience - 3+ years of team management experience - Technical understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and materials, capacity assessments, and quality requirements - Experience driving continuous improvement activities, and performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Correction of Errors (COE). - Experience driving supplier development programs and manufacturing technology transfers Preferred: - Master's degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Master's degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Administration - Six Sigma Green Belt, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification - Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma - Direct experience managing high-complexity electronics contract manufacturers, preferably in aerospace or defense industries - Demonstrated success in implementing advanced manufacturing processes and quality systems in regulated industries - Deep expertise in space-grade electronics manufacturing, including familiarity with J-STD-001 Space Addendum, IPC-A-610 Space Addendum, and AS9100 requirements Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
