Manager, Design Technologist, Elevated Shopping Experience

We are looking for a Design Technology Manager to lead a team of Design Technologists focused on generative AI tools, creative workflows, and technical innovation for éShop.This is not a traditional design Basic qualifications: - Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities - Bachelor's degree - 7+ years of experience as a Design Technologist, Creative Technologist, or equivalent role building production-quality prototypes at the intersection of design and engineering - 3+ years of people management experience, including hiring, performance management, and team development - Proficiency with AI and generative interfaces, node-based workflows, and agentic systems, with the ability to build functional prototypes using real model APIs and production data. - Demonstrated ability to work on large, ambiguous problems with limited guidance and deliver results Preferred: - Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, engineering, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Knowledge of multi-model systems, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop review. - Familiarity with generative AI systems, image generation, video generation, LLM-powered interfaces, or agentic workflows - Experience working with workflow orchestration, system integrations, or backend service dependencies. - Familiarity with accessibility standards, design systems, and UX research integration - Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices. - Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
