Are Basic qualifications: - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles - Experience building and improving complex software systems for end users. - Experience with Big Data, NoSQL, Map-Reduce. - Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices. Preferred: - Knowledge of machine learning approaches and algorithms - Experience on highly concurrent, high throughput systems and knowledge of complex distributed systems - Experience in more than one major programming language (C++, Java, or related) and at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, or equivalent) - Experience or interest in Document Retrieval (indexing), Search Engine Technologies (e.g. Lucene), or Document Understanding (Natural Language Processing) is desirable but not mandatory.
