Liaison Engineer, 2nd Shift, Amazon Leo

From individual households to Basic qualifications: - 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent - 1+ years of demonstrated experience in a Liaison Engineer / Material Review Board (MRB) role with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures Preferred: - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience with the project management of technical projects - Strong fundamentals in engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, modal, frequency response, random vibration, sine and acoustic analyses/tests) - Experience with fatigue and fracture analyses - Knowledge of or experience with spacecraft technology and related primary, secondary and tertiary structures - Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - Strong understanding or Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing - Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 (drawing interpretation) - Experience with Siemens Products (Teamcenter, NX, NX Nastran) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
