IT Application Engineer II, FinTech General Ledger

We're looking for an Oracle Applications Developer Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related field - Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite in a multiple organization and multiple set of books environment - 4+ years of software development experience - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL best practices - Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities - Experience developing and debugging PL/SQL on Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) — working within EBS schemas/objects (AP, GL), reading and troubleshooting existing production packages, and diagnosing runtime/data issues (logs, SHOW ERRORS, tracing dependencies). Preferred: - Experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development, staging, production (or equivalent) deployment cycles - Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment - Knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and database schema - Experience using Oracle, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles - Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
