In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of computer networking experience - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair - 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience - 2+ years of knowledge of network and cabling, optic types, and test equipment - 2+ years of experience with network and cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - 2+ years of experience coordinating workload and priorities through ticketing system and/or system-driven workflow Preferred: - Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure - Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system - Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment) - 2+ years of experience with data networking in datacenter environment - 2+ years of experience with installation and removal of equipment from datacentre racks/cabinets - 5+ years of experience with cabling in datacenter environment, including cable management and install/removal in production environment - 2+ years of experience troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels/FDP/ODF - 2+ years of experience in lead technician role Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
