Basic qualifications: - Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security or personnel issues in the workplace - Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience with 1-year human resources general experience OR equivalent experience (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, manufacturing) - Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., creating documents in Word, using basic spreadsheet functions in Excel, managing calendars/emails in Outlook). - Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences (e.g., explaining processes, addressing concerns, providing technical guidance) Preferred: - Degree in HR, Management, Business, Labor Relations, Psychology, or a related field - Experience in customer service or people-facing roles, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., ability to use pivot tables, v-lookups, and formulas) - Proficiency in using AI-powered tools, HR analytics platforms, and emerging technologies to derive insights and drive process improvements - Ability to effectively train, guide, and support others in the use of various HR technologies and digital platforms, with a focus on increasing user adoption and enhancing end-user experience - Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic environments - Experience building partnerships and collaborating effectively across teams, demonstrating adaptability and autonomy - Ability to exercise sound judgement and navigate ambiguous situations with limited direction - Basic understanding of HR processes and policies - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
