Global Quality Tech Manager, Global Build Quality Program

The Global Quality Tech Manager plays an essential role in AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery's (DCCD) Global Build Quality (GBQ) Program. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or 1+ years of construction or project management experience - • 5+ years of experience in quality management, quality systems development, construction management, or related field, with a strong background in electrical and/or mechanical construction. - • Experience developing and implementing quality standards, frameworks, policies, and procedures across multiple projects or regions. - • Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, process integration, and lifecycle management. - • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships with stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and geographies. - • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, KPIs, and measurement frameworks. - • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) Preferred: - • Experience in data center, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical facility projects. - • Knowledge of AWS or the cloud computing industry. - • Experience developing or managing global quality management systems (QMS). - • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt). - • ASQ certification (Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer). - • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. - • Experience working in governance or programmatic oversight capacity. - • Working knowledge of SQL or Python for querying and analyzing quality data Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
