Frontend Engineer, Amazon Advertising - Brand Innovation Lab

Amazon Ads is looking for a Front-End Engineer to join the Brand Innovation Lab (BIL), a multidisciplinary team that creates innovative advertising experiences for some of the world’s most recognized brands.In Basic qualifications: - Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node - Experience in professional front end development - Experience across the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, debugging, and maintenance. - Experience writing maintainable, tested production code and diagnosing software defects to identify root causes. - Knowledge of front-end performance, accessibility, browser compatibility, and web security practices. - Experience with source control, code review, and modern software development workflows. - Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, product, or other technical stakeholders. Preferred: - Experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies - Experience working in a cloud based development and production environment such as AWS - Experience with automation, testing, or monitoring framework development - Experience building or maintaining design systems, component libraries, reusable front-end frameworks, or template-based systems. - Experience evolving prototypes, campaign-specific implementations, or proof-of-concept software into maintainable production systems. - Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and operational tooling. - Knowledge of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, internationalization, and front-end security. - Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services. - Experience working on advertising technology, interactive experiences, media, e-commerce, or other customer-facing digital products.
