Food Safety Manager, Supplier Food Safety and Quality Assurance

Food Safety Manager is a role within the Food Safety & Quality organization, focusing primarily on Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Private Brands, including Amazon Grocery and Whole Foods Market 365. This Basic qualifications: - 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience - 3+ years of managing food safety and quality in a large-scale retail or manufacturing environment experience - Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field - Knowledge of retail food code and regulations governing grocery retail at local, state, and federal levels - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience handling confidential information - Experience interacting with local food safety regulators Preferred: - 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience - Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials - Experience with SQL and Excel - Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices. - Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
