AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - Experience with fire and building codes and standards, including the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), FM Global standards, International Fire Code (IFC) and the Comprehensive International Building Code (IBC) Preferred: - Experience in construction, or experience in construction or project management - Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA - Experience in design engineering or the construction industry, including fire suppression systems, fire alarm and detection systems, fire-resistive construction, and life safety - Experience in design review, specification, development of design standards, and submittal review Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
