Environmental Compliance Manager (12 months - Fixed Term), EU EAP Field

We are seeking a Environmental Compliance Manager to ensure environmental regulatory compliance across 15+ Amazon facilities in Germany, Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. You will reduce compliance violations, Basic qualifications: - English and German written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with Director level leadership. - Experience with all Microsoft Office applications - A completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, chemical, environmental), environmental science, sustainability, environmental management, natural sciences, or another relevant discipline. - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience. - Experience using in depth knowledge of EU environmental regulations, through to country and local environmental regulations. - Experience diving deep with multiple stakeholders (engineering, legal, public policy, procurement, safety) to understand operations processes Preferred: - Experience working in relevant industries such as law, customer service, investigations, risk, compliance or project management - Experience implementing scalable compliance solutions (technology, procedures, processes, etc.) in a regulated environment - Master's Degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field of engineering or science study. - Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile or equivalent certification.
