The Japan Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Engineer for the Material Handling Equipment Engineering team to lead the team responsible Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - Business level proficiency in English - Business level proficiency in Japanese Preferred: - Experience working with and managing third party vendors - Experience in PLC programming - Experience with Asset Management Tools - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently with limited supervision - Experienced in supporting complex technical discussions with a variety of groups including software engineers, hardware engineers, technicians, and operators Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
