Electrical Engineer, Fauna

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of our power and motion control systems for our robotic systems. This role is an opportunity to lead the long-term architecture Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment experience - 4+ years of motor controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components) experience - Experience developing products for large volume production - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization - Strong PCB design and layout skills (Altium, KiCad, or similar) with an understanding of high-power circuits, signal integrity, and thermal constraints - Experience with lithium-ion battery systems, BMS hardware/software, and power distribution architectures - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and motor test benches - Proficiency with embedded system interfaces (FDCAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, USB) and experience working with STM32 microcontrollers - Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques and compliance standards for industrial or robotics systems - Experience working in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other real-time electromechanical systems Preferred: - Previous experience in robotics or control systems Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
