In this role, you will be a significant and autonomous contributor, solving difficult engineering problems related Basic qualifications: - Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - 3+ years of developing electric propulsion and/or battery management systems. Preferred: - Experience working on power systems hardware for aerospace programs (aircraft, drone, satellites, etc.) - Experience leading vendor engagements and manufacturing partner discussions for power electronics and battery system. - Working knowledge of DO-160 and DO-274 design and test standards and IP (Ingress Protection) rating requirements and design-for-environment principles - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to build mechanism that reduce routine work and bring processes to scale - Demonstrated ability to learn new technical domains quickly and work independently on well-scoped tasks Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
