Director, UX Design, Demand Tech Experiences

The Amazon Advertising User Experience (AUX) team is looking for a senior design leader to develop and scale design teams dedicated to creating innovative experiences that connect brands/businesses/agencies Basic qualifications: 12+ years of professional design experience, including 8+ years leading design teams Proven expertise in AdTech, B2B enterprise UX, SaaS platforms, or sophisticated workflow software (AdTech, financial services, analytics, etc.) Deep understanding of design strategy, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design best practices Experience designing end-to-end product experiences from discovery through production Demonstrated ability to communicate design concepts clearly to diverse audiences (executives, engineers, business stakeholders) Track record of building and scaling high-performing design teams Preferred: 5+ years of direct experience in advertising technology (AdTech), demand-side platforms (DSP), or programmatic trading Experience designing AI-assisted or agentic user experiences that transform how users work Familiarity with emerging design challenges in multi-agent systems, autonomous workflows, and human-AI collaboration Leadership experience in fast-growing, high-velocity organizations where shipping speed is competitive advantage Experience designing across omnichannel contexts (desktop, mobile, chat interfaces, data visualization) Track record of building design systems and establishing design governance at organizational scale Experience presenting to C-suite, boards, or external partners (holding companies, customers) Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Miro) and modern design workflows Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
