Director, Network Infrastructure Sourcing & Procurement, Networking and Server Silicon

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced senior leader to serve as Director of Network Infrastructure Sourcing and Procurement. This role owns the end-to-end sourcing strategy for the components Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of people leadership, or 10+ years of senior leadership experience - 6+ years of multi-million dollar contract negotiation experience - Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals - Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership Preferred: - MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - 6+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities experience - Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers - Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing operations environment - Experience in supply chain security, including management of third-party logistics providers, law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, investigations or a similar field - Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment - Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data - Domain expertise across multiple networking technologies: ASICs, optical transceivers, lasers, fiber cable, or switching platforms Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
