This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.The Amazon Web Services Professional Services Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent - 3+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience - Experience in designing, planning and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred: - Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments - Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization - experience - Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments - AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) - Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) - Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) - Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service - (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
