Delivery Consultant - Security

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience - Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3) - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - 3+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code Preferred: - 5+ years of IT implementation experience - degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification - Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies - Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR - AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred - Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
