Practise the DC/DC Power Electronics Engineer at Amazon interview free →Amazon Web Services is seeking a DC/DC Power Electronics Engineer to design isolated high-power DC/DC converter stages forming the core of the MV-to-800 VDC SST power-conversion architecture.As a DC/DC Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, - Experience with isolated high-power DC/DC converter design. - Experience with high-voltage power electronics and laboratory validation. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with controls, magnetics, thermal and PCB engineers. - Experience documenting design decisions, assumptions, trade-offs, risks and technical specifications. Preferred: - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering. - 2+ years experience in isolated high-power DC/DC (DAB/CLLC/LLC) design and validation. - Demonstrated strong knowledge of DAB/CLLC or comparable resonant/isolated topologies. - Demonstrated understanding of soft switching, modulation and dynamic response. - Demonstrated working effectively with adjacent engineering disciplines and contributing to full A-to-Z product ownership. - Demonstrated operating effectively in a greenfield environment where standards and reference designs may require interpretation and adaptation.
