Data Center IT Support Engineer, MEL - DCO

Data Centre Operations designs, installs and maintains the world’s largest Computing Infrastructure. We are looking for skilled Data Centre Technicians with a passion for technology to help us expand Basic qualifications: - 1+ years of computer networking experience - 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience in computer networking - Experience working with Linux operating systems - Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds - Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair Preferred: - Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines - Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure - Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system - Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies - Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment) Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
