In this pivotal role, you'll be the guardian of our data Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of in industrial electrical or mechanical systems experience - 5+ years of in a managerial/supervisory role with 5 or more direct reports experience - 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience - 3+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems experience Preferred: - Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions - Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAC units - Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing - Can work in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines - Experience hiring candidates, mentoring and developing employees in their careers - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
