Data Center Facilities Manager (Night Shift)

In this pivotal role, you'll be the guardian of our data Basic qualifications: - High school or equivalent diploma - 4+ years of work in a management position with 5 or more direct reports experience - 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data center or other mission critical environment with knowledge in UPS, Generators, HVAC, Evaporators and other critical infrastructure OR 7+ years of Technical (Military/Trade School) training and/or experience Preferred: - 5+ years of work in a management position with 5 or more direct reports experience - Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications (Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline) - 7+ years of experience working in a data center or other mission critical environment with an emphasis on building and equipment operation - An excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAHU units - Strong verbal and written communication skills, technical writing or business justifications (white paper experience) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
