Amazon Japan Legal seeks an experienced attorney to support our rapidly growing operations business in Japan, with a focus on fulfillment center (FC) operations and operational compliance. You will advise Basic qualifications: - Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) from a leading university and law school. - Licensed to practice law in Japan or other jurisdiction. - Approximately 5+ years of legal experience (with several years of experience at a leading global law firm and/or in-house at a major multinational corporation). - Native Level Japanese and Business Level English (have ability to communicate orally and in writing, draft agreements and negotiate in Japanese and English.) Preferred: - Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work - Experience managing projects and working independently - The successful candidate must be proactive, enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
