Corporate Counsel, Government and Regulatory Litigation

Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for a smart, experienced, and highly motivated litigator to help manage its worldwide portfolio of government enforcement, litigation, and regulatory matters, and advise Basic qualifications: - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent - 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience - 5+ years of litigation and regulatory experience Preferred: - Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously - Experience in crisis management and response or equivalent - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience at both a law firm and federal or state government agency - Federal judicial clerkship - Trial experience - Familiarity with retail, Internet, software, and/or media industries and the legal and regulatory environment in which they operate - Proficiency in advising senior executives of an organization - Demonstrated sound business judgment - Demonstrated high ethical standards and professional integrity Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
