Corporate Counsel, Customer Protection and Enforcement

Join Amazon's Customer Protection and Enforcement team as a Corporate Counsel and help protect our customers from fraud and cybercrime schemes. You'll work at the intersection of law, investigation, and Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent Preferred: - Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders - Experience investigating and stopping cybercrime schemes, including crafting legal strategies, managing a large number and variety of mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous environments, and interacting with government agencies. - Thorough understanding of Internet architecture and related technologies - Experience working effectively with outside counsel in the US and internationally, investigators, lawyers, and business clients cooperatively and efficiently Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
