Controls Engineer, North Asia, APAC Controls Deployment & Service

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Controls system: experience building unified automated control system for enterprise level clients, consolidating equipment and subsystems; hardware, software, networking products from multiple vendors, ability to understand PID loop tuning, feedback theory, and industry standard programming: Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Script Programming Languages - Project management: ability to understand electrical diagrams, control diagrams, control networks schematics, control panel Bill of Materials (BoM), control panel schematics, experience in inspection, testing and commissioning, ability to manage project scope, schedule, cost, stakeholder expectations, vendor/sub-contractors, multiple concurrent deliverables. - Language skills: Business level English and intermediate level Japanese Preferred: - 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience - Knowledge of critical data center equipment - Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures - Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA - Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure - Experience in Data Center Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure - Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
